Personally, I started my internship with Millennium Personnel Corporation (MPC) on June 9, 2011. The location of my three-month internship is in the financial capital of the United States, which is in New York City. The method in which I got informed about MPC was via the Internet. Upon my Internet search, I swiftly got the premonition that MPC is a renowned and successful employment agency; for example, an ample amount of applicant and client reviews shed mostly positive reception about MPC.
As for my educational background, I received my Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Touro College in New York City during 2010. The major that I pursued for that degree was in Accounting and Business. The areas of concentration in which I focused on while pursuing that degree was creating spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel for financial statement reporting and bookkeeping; creating Microsoft Word documents for composing letters and reports; studying business ethics and law, intermediate finance, pre-calculus and computer hardware. Immediately after I received my Bachelor’s Degree, I enrolled in the Graduate School of Business in Touro College to further enhance my prospects in the business environment. By the end of 2012, I am expected to graduate from this program with an MBA (Master’s of Business Administration) degree. The areas of concentration in which I am focusing on in this program are marketing management, statistical analysis, human resource management, and information technology (IT).
As for my job experience, I was employed at Mensacola Marketing in Brooklyn, New York for a couple of months in 2007. One of my job duties was to attempt to raise funds for firefighters in Massachusetts via a non-profit organization. In the summers from 2008-2010, I was employed part-time at MCU Park (baseball stadium for the Brooklyn Cyclones) in Coney Island, Brooklyn as a cashier.
As such, with my educational and job background, I am strongly confident that I will apply and integrate those derived skills into my internship at MPC; thus, I will be able to foster a well-established relationship with all clients, employees and applicants at MPC. Some examples of the fields in which I will be extremely interested to enter after the completion of my internship program at MPC are receptionist, administrative assistant and executive assistant to a CEO. Furthermore, I will use exceptional interpersonal communicational skills to transfer my talent to any applicable job duty that I am obliged or recommend to achieve.
