Reflections of the Millennium Personnel Corp. Interns

internship for all ages

Posted By admin On Wednesday, September 14th 2011

As a college graduate with little to no interviewing skills, finding a job was difficult. It also didn’t help that I was uncomfortable around new people. I came to Millennium Personnel hoping to find a temporary job when they offered me an internship. I decided to accept the internship figuring that I only had something to gain. This was the perfect opportunity for me to gain experience and a great change from my existing experience.

I am currently gaining valuable skills and experience that are increasing my chances of getting a job. I have learned to overcome some of my weaknesses that would otherwise hinder me from getting a job. I am learning how to handle interviews by actually conducting interviews, which in turn will help me anticipate the unexpected when I receive an interview from a possible employer. After I complete my internship, I will receive a new resume. With my new resume paired with my new experience, I will be able to find a job even in this difficult time.

Internships Getting Younger and Younger…

Posted By admin On Wednesday, September 7th 2011

As a high school senior, I hope that my internship experience with Millennium Personnel Corp. gives me the opportunity to advance my knowledge and skills necessary to obtain a job in the near future. I expect to learn how to deal with others in a professional manner within a comfortable, yet fast-paced working environment. Since this is my second day working as an intern in the office, I have already had the opportunity to organize documents, pick up and make calls for the company, and conduct courtesy interviews.

This internship experience will give me the privilege of developing a sense of leadership, as well as being able to take care of work responsibilities as a young adult. Although I am a senior in high school and I am younger than most of the college-graduate interns here, this internship will most definitely allow me to adapt to an office environment, as well as the hard-working staff who come with it. After completing my internship hours, I plan on updating my resume with Millennium Personnel Corp. and attending college so that I can find a job opportunity out in this competitive business world. Then, I will finally be able to start my long-life journey towards success.
